Simultaneous interpretation: collect sound through the microphone and display bilingual subtitles in real time. After turning on "auto play", voice output is possible.
Dialogue translation: designed specifically for "dialogue" scenarios, it does not require switching languages to enable users to conduct bilingual dialogue translation between two languages.
Real-time voice transcription: can convert the user's voice into text while listening to it, and display it on the screen without delay. Suitable for scenarios such as meeting records.
Camera translation: Real-time recognition of text in the picture through the camera viewfinder and translation and superposition display, suitable for scenes such as restaurant menus, road signs, books, packaging boxes, manuals, etc.
Floating subtitles: Translate the sound inside the phone to achieve a scenario where you can translate while watching a video. In this scenario, the sound of the microphone cannot be translated.
2. Why does ViiTor real-time translation not work after connecting to VPN?
Using a VPN will affect the original server routing, which may make the network connection to ViiTor real-time translation unstable, affecting the real-time translation function. When using it, please modify the settings in your VPN to exclude ViiTor. For specific operations, please consult the software provider you use.
3. Why is there no translation after turning on the floating subtitles?
The floating subtitle uses the screen capture function in the phone by default to obtain the content currently played on the phone. You need to make sure that the video you open has sound. Some live broadcasts and videos (such as some live broadcasts on Weverse) will be processed by technology, so we cannot capture the audio of the content through screen capture. In this case, please try to switch to the phone microphone to receive sound. When using the phone microphone to receive sound, you cannot wear headphones, otherwise the translation will not be possible.
4. Can the translation results be read out loud?
Simultaneous interpretation and dialogue functions can read the translation results. Just turn on "Autoplay".
5. Can I set the tone of the simultaneous interpretation myself when it is being played?
The system provides different tones according to different translation languages. You can choose according to the examples in the figure below. Custom tones are not supported yet.
6. Can I set the tone of the dialogue translation when it is playing?
Currently, the dialogue translation uses the default tone to output the translated voice. You cannot set the tone yourself.
